Aromatherapy massage combines gentle massage with the therapeutic effects of essential oils.
Essential oils are the natural oils extracted from leaves, roots, flowers and stems. The oils during massage are absorbed through the skin and enter the blood stream where they take effect.
The effects depend on the combination of oils used. The effects of some oils are well known and commonly found in remedies, such as Peppermint for indigestion and Tea Tree to fight infection.
aromatherapy may help with a range of conditions including:
stress and anxiety
muscular pain
insomnia
nausea
stomach problems
